Girls are placed in a league based on their grade (not birth date).  This is a popular feature for this sport, as it ensures girls are playing with their classmates as they transition into their high school volleyball careers:

• 4th Grade
• 5th Grade
• 6th Grade
• 7th Grade
• 8th Grade

Depending on registration numbers for each grade, there may be multiple divisions within each league, or grades may be combined, as appropriate.

Our plan is to keep girls together by school as much as possible, as it makes it more fun for the girls. Depending on registration numbers, a skills assessment and draft may be needed for older age groups to ensure competitive balance and a fun experience for all players.

Team Coaches and League Commissioners will determines the days, times, & locations of all practices.  Generally, practices will be held at SBISD area gyms.  Teams will generally have 1-2 practices per week (generally ~3 practices/games per week total), including one professional skills training session per week hosted by current and former volleyball players.

Teams will generally have 1-2 games per week (generally ~3 practices/games per week total).  Games may be during the week or on Saturdays.  Games typically scheduled at local SBISD area gyms.

Although registration and participation is open to all girls, regardless of address, in the event of a wait list in a particular league or age group, priority is given to families that reside within the bounds of SBISD.
