2025 Spring Season - Opens 12/2

For Spring 2025, we offer:
- 6U for the five and six-year-old players. (Four-year-olds will be considered on a case-by-case basis determined by the 6U age level commissioner)
- 7U will be solely for seven-year-olds
- 8U will be for solely eight-year-olds (a more advanced level where the players will start to pitch)
- 10U for the nine and ten-year-olds that will consist of an American League and a National League to be determined through a player skills assessment
- 12U for eleven and twelve-year-olds
- 14U for those that are thirteen and fourteen years of age
At each level, the players will learn and apply new softball concepts. If you would like to play softball this spring, we would love to have you come out and play.

Youth Umpires

We allow Youth Umpires to train and perfect umpiring at SBMSA Softball. If you are interested in umpiring, click the button below to complete an application.

If you are a middle or high school student that is 7th grade or older and you are interested in signing up for the SBMSA Softball Youth Umpire Program, please review the FAQ document. You can also read the SBMSA Softball Youth Umpiring Program overview here (link to come). All information can be found in the Softball Resources section of the Softball homepage. If, after reading this overview of our SBMSA Softball youth umpire program, you think this opportunity is a good fit for you, please submit the Google application form linked below. We will respond to all applications by January 25, 2025.

The opportunity begins Spring 2025 season, and our youth umpires work games in late February/early March through May.
