The 5/6 Dragons girls lacrosse team (pictured) finished an undefeated run to win the Greater Houston Girls Youth Lacrosse Association (GHGYLA) city-wide championship. This is the first city title for any of the Dragons teams. The talented team dominated each game, with solid victories over HYLAX and Cy Fair in the first two rounds. In the championship game, the Dragons battled the Woodlands, a team that is known for exceptional talent and lots of big wins. The first half ended with a 1-1 tie, but the Dragons scored 12 straight goals in the second half.
